Gold Star
This work was the result of completing a series of prompts sent to me by another artist/art educator. The work is a documentation of words I commonly misspell in very elaborate and diverse ways. Each page of the journal included the word cut out of the page with the incorrect consonant or vowel highlighted from behind in red. The correct consonants and vowels are highlighted from behind in gold-leaf. The pages were then sewn together so that incorrect spelling of the word could not be corrected.
